A Vase with a pleated Design Paper Waist Band

A porcelain vase decorated with a waist band, made from a piece of pleated and assembled Vivi Gade Design paper (the Paris series). After assembly, it is decorated with a metal heart on a piece of natural hemp, wrapped around the waist band.

Come farlo
1. Count a width of five squares on the checkered design paper. Cut along the entire length of the piece of design paper. Where each square meets, make a pleat which goes across the width of the design paper.
2. Assemble this pleated piece of design paper with double-sided adhesive tape and place around the vase as a waist band.
3. Cut a piece of natural hemp. Thread a metal heart onto the piece of natural hemp through the hole at the top of the heart. Tie the string with the heart around the pleated waist band.
