A Picture of a nesting Chicken

Dopo una visita a una fattoria e una bella chiacchierata sulla vita nel pollaio, tra le altre cose, questi bambini di quarta elementare hanno realizzato una mostra congiunta con dipinti di galline su nidi realizzati con nastro di rafia e rete da pollaio come dettaglio extra davanti all'opera d'arte. Questo progetto ha stimolato l'interesse dei bambini per la natura, oltre a lavorare con nuovi materiali in un processo creativo.

Come farlo
1 Draw the outline of the chicken with a pencil on the canvas panel. Paint with Pigment Art School acrylic paint. Leave to dry.
2 Cut a piece of chicken wire which is larger than the canvas panel. Place the chicken wire over the design and bend it onto the back.
3 Push straw into the chicken wire to create the chicken's nest. A TIP: As an alternative to real straw, you may use natural raffia, cut into small pieces.
