A Natural Egg with Printed Text and a Tissue Paper Waistband

1.   Measure the egg's circumference and cut a strip of tissue paper to fit. Double over the tissue paper and cut a laced pattern with a pair of silhouette scissors; eg. small notches along the top and bottom edge.

2.   Apply decoupage lacquer for glass and porcelain onto the area of the egg intended for the tissue paper waistband. You may use a brush to smooth out the tissue paper from the middle of the waistband in an outwards direction. Apply another coat of lacquer on top of the tissue paper.

3.   Print and cut out a black text on white paper and attach this on top of the tissue paper using decoupage lacquer. Remember to apply decoupage lacquer on top of the text. Let the egg dry.
