1 Paint the canvas panel black and glue on a piece of aluminium foil on top.
2 The torn paper is easy to glue on with a glue stick.
The mirror-like base can be aluminium foil, mirror foil, metallic paper/card or Imitation Metal Leaf.
Here we play with the contrast between a mirror-like background and the matt surface of the torn paper.
