A Cup Cosy knitted from Melbourne Wool

This cup cosy is knitted from Melbourne wool in two colours and decorated with two brooch pins, each with a hollow for attaching a cabochon. (The cosy is suitable for a glass with a diameter of 20-22cm, height 13-14cm).

Cast 40 stitches of Melbourne wool onto No. 4.5 sock knitting needles. Knit 4cm rib (1 plain and 1 purl stitch). Change colour and knit 6cm. Finish with 4 rows of purl – a total of 11cm. Decorate the cup cosy with brooch pins with cabochons glued into the hollow.
