Embroider lovely punched-out Christmas baubles from cross stitch card. Cross stitch card is thick card, punched out in traditional designs with punched holes for embroidery. You may use Lurex yarn for the embroidery.

Sew through the holes using either embroidery floss, cotton yarn or Lurex yarn.

A tip: You can create many different patterns and add beads or sequins for further decoration. Thread beads or sequins onto the yarn prior to embroidering. Pull forward one bead or sequin at a time so that it sits firmly between the stitches.
